It does not cover city or county licenses and taxes, professional licensing, or whether your activity in a state is enough to require registering there (nexus); those depend on the facts. Every step links to the agency page or statute it comes from. Where a source did not state something, such as a fee or a deadline for one kind of entity, the step leaves it out rather than guess, so a missing fee or filing means it was not confirmed, not that there is none.
